Financial Value Addition

Value-added for shareholders (PAT) and government (Tax payable) are two components of reported value-addition by corporations.  Other value-addition components are derived from salaries, net interest, net rentals, etc. The boundaries of this analysis can be chosen to be the company alone, or the full value chain – which includes (for example) taxes collected at various points along with the value chain.
